My dear friends of FOVI,

Happy holidays to you all!  I hope you’re enjoying these holidays that are upon us, and anticipating a year of happiness and good fortune. 

What a year it’s been, to say the least!  Many triumphs and challenges, many blessings and losses, many joys countered with moments of sadness… Very much like any other year, I suppose, but for whatever reason, when we’re in the throes of it, those times feel like never before. 

Obviously, the single common denominator which brought many of us together has been our dear show, All My Children.  Its cancellation this year has left many of us trying to find our footing; at the very least, I’m sure, trying to find something satisfying to fill that time slot each day that has been occupied for over 40 years for some of you.  Easier said then done, no doubt, given the place it’s held in many of our lives.

Despite the challenges we’ve inherited as a result of this, I can’t be more grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve been blessed with in all of you.  You have all continued to show such kindness and generosity towards me, which has been especially uplifting to me during these recent transitional months.  I want to thank you all so much for the wonderful gifts you have sent my way.  I received the fruit/nut basket the other day which has been delicious.  In fact, it’s already half way finished!  Thank you also, for the very generous Amazon gift card given for my birthday.  I’m so looking forward to uploading and buying some more books and music; all of which I get to enjoy during my many hours in flight traveling from coast to coast.  And of course, the wonderful framed print you sent me of David O’Keefe’s AMC caricature.  It’s something I will truly never tire of enjoying.  Thank you also, Janet, for your wonderful and thoughtful cards you have sent.  I’m always so impressed with the thought you’ve put into each of them.  I’m truly blown away by the poem in this last one, incapable of imagining how much time and brain power it took to write it!  Very impressive!  Overall, I do realize that these times are difficult for many of you financially, and I want you all to know that I don’t take these gifts lightly.  I am, and always will be, forever grateful to you all.

Lastly, thank you all so much for the generosity you have shown towards the many others throughout these years since we had formed FOVI together.  I can’t be more proud of all the successes we’ve shared in.  You have all shown yourselves to be people of great heart; people I will forever be proud to be associated with.  On to the New Year and the many challenges and triumphs awaiting us still! 

You have all been such a dear blessing to me throughout these many years.  Even in offering my unending thanks I know I would fall far short, but alas, I will try nonetheless.

Happy 2012 to you all!!!!!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my Official Website here at www.vincentirizarry.com . Thanks for stopping by.  It’s a great place for you to come and learn more about what’s going on in my life – personal appearances, events I might be participating in, my hoped-for nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize – you know, stuff like that.  It’s even a great place to ask me questions, as I’ll be answering some of those questions from time to time, right here on this site. 

 For those of you who have been watching me throughout these many years, I just want to thank you for your loyal support.  It really does mean more to me than you could imagine.  And for those who are new followers of my work on All My Children as the dastardly Dr. David Hayward, I welcome you to the show and am equally grateful for your support.

  Another reason for coming to this site is to find out what charitable organizations we might be sponsoring through FOVI, (Friends of Vincent Irizarry).  This is a group comprised of members, such as you, who have come together with a desire to make a difference for people in need.  Since its inception approximately 10 years ago, we’ve been able to raise over $100,000 for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Hope for New York, The Carol M. Baldwin Fund for Breast Cancer Research, Angel Tree, Grandma’s House, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Treats for Troops.  So if you’d like to join forces with us to make a real difference in the lives of so many, please follow the FAN CLUB link on this site to sign up. We’d be very grateful to have you as a member.
