FOVI (Friends of Vincent Irizarry) was created in the Spring of 2000 to use the good will generated among fans of Vincent Irizarry for a greater, charitable purpose.  It was because of this commitment to support works of charity that Vincent chose to designate FOVI as his "official" fan club.  With charity at its heart, FOVI differs from traditional fan clubs.  With Vincent's help and support, FOVI has raised over $100,000 from fundraisers such as our auctions and our yearly Teas.

One of our biggest projects was fundraising for Habitat for Humanity's - Women's Build Program.  In October of 2003, Vincent and many of our members helped with the actual building of "our" house.  It was a wonderful and rewarding experience for all.

Whether collecting can goods for City Harvest to help feed New York's hungry, supporting children at Grandma's House with HIV-Aids, or supporting children with cancer at St. Jude's Children's Hospital, we like to think no project is too big or too small.  All contributions are appreciated and given with the generous hearts of our members and supporters.
